Advertise with Gun Nuts!

If you’re a friend of mine on Facebook, then you already know what I’m about to tell you – namely that I lost my fulltime “real job” on Wednesday.  While well-wishes are appreciated, I want ya’ll to know that I’m actually quite happy about this; as it has/is giving me an excellent opportunity to focus on the things that truly matter to me, such as my wife – and on developing Gun Nuts Media into what I’ve dreamed it can be.

Don’t worry, I’m not going to start begging for money while posting pictures of my fat dogs; however what I am going to do is encourage you to think about advertising with Gun Nuts, whether it’s here, or on the radio show, or even on our Youtube channel.  Click this page link for more information. If your work for or represent a company that produces a product for the firearms/self-defense market, and are interested in increasing your exposure, drop me a line at [email protected] and we can work something out.

On a more personal note, I’m looking forward to this opportunity – there is no time like the present to stop working for The Man and to start working for yourself.

IDPA Match is off

The IDPA match that had been planned for this weekend at Atlanta Conservation Club has now been canceled, it seems that the range is now “Lake Atlanta”.  The snow melt combined with the 3 or 5 or whatever inches of rain we’ve gotten the past few days combined to put the range, which sits at the bottom of a hill, about 3 feet under water.

So, technically, we could have shot, I would have just needed SCUBA gear and a Glock (because Hollywood told me Glocks shoot underwater).

Question for the Gallery

I know that many of the readers here at Gun Nuts are also regular listeners at Gun Nuts Radio.  So, I suddenly find myself with a decent amount of free time, at least for the time being, and I’m wondering how you would respond to an increase in the number of shows that we do each week?  What I’ve got in mind is doing three more shows – Mon, Wed, Fri that are 30 minutes long, and cover “news of the day”, including political stuff, gun news, etc.  I can’t guarantee that the Breda will participate in every show, but I figure she’d be around for some of them.

Update: Since there has been some confusion, I want to make it clear that a M-W-F show, or a M-F show would not replace the Tuesday night show, which would still be our primary vehicle. The point and purpose of a M-F or M-W-F show would be to allow greater market saturation.

Indiana Gun Legislation: Senate Bill 0011

Alright Hoosier Gun owners, it is time to contact your State Senators and get them to support Senate Bill 0011, which just passed out of committee yesterday.  From the digest of the bill:

Prohibits a person (which includes an individual, a corporation, and a governmental entity) from adopting or enforcing a policy or rule that prohibits or has the effect of prohibiting an individual from legally possessing a firearm that is locked in the individual’s vehicle while the vehicle is in or on the person’s property.

Again, this bill just passed out of committee yesterday and went to the general Senate.  If you don’t know who your state Senator is, you can click this link to find out who they are and ask them to support SB 0011.
