No, the safety is a 90* safety just like on the civilian version of the HK416. For internals, I assume you’re talking about the trigger group, I didn’t ask about it but I assume it’s the same on the 416 as it is on the Colt.
A note on the Walther made “Colt” M4, they’ve actually ditched the 180 degree safety on current versions, due to customer feedback requested a 90 degree safety like you find on civilian guns. They also made improvements to the design to increase some of the reliability issues found on earlier guns.
