It was 2011, and I was still sponsored by Cheaper than Dirt and Woolrich. I missed the match in 2012, but I’m excited to be back this year. One of the stupid things I did in 2011 was I shot an entirely untested gun at the match. When I got back after the match, I shot it for groups at 25 yards, and it produced on average a 16 inch group at 25 yards. Whoops. This year, I know my gun and ammo combo shoots 2 inches at 25, so any missed steel is entirely on me this time. No excuses, only victory!
