Goal review DTG 06/11/2013

Dry Fire Session B – sucess
If time permits, Live Fire Session A – time did not permit

As I mentioned, I’ve been struggling with finding the time to get to the range. Some behind the scenes stuff – work has absolutely taken off the past month, and I’ve never been busier. I was complaining to a friend in the gun industry who has the same problem, and we’re both frustrated because we got into this business because of a passion for shooting, not a passion for doing reports.

DTG 06/12/2013

  1. Dry fire session A (again)
  2. Overhead press 47% of my bodyweight. Squat 58%.

Also, I need to buy more weights. When I moved to Sioux Falls I gave away a lot of my home gym gear, and I’m about to hit the max weight on the gear I kept in the house. #firstworldproblems

One of the related goals for the week is to go through Mike’s book again and scale the live fire down. Some of the drills need to be adapted to a single lane indoor range plan. Once I get that done, I’ll post updated drills.
