It’s bad when anti-gunners demonize gun owners for the actions of a small, violent, criminal minority of people.
But it’s totally okay to demonize 2.4 million American Muslims for the actions of a small, violent criminal minority of Muslims.

It is not the Bahaism, Buddhists, Confucianism ,Christians ,Hinduism , Jainism , Judaism, Sikhism, Shintoism, etc. that are funding the muslim islamic terrorists . muslims can not live in peace with themselves and there is over 1,000 years proof of this in history . It is conspicuously obvious whom is funding the terrorists….So please tell me more about peaceful muslims.
I leave this…

Never pretend that you are not susceptible to the same failings you hate in others.
If the vast majority of gun owners supported acts of violence, you might have an analogy. http://dailycaller.com/2013/05/01/nine-things-youll-learn-from-pews-poll-of-the-worlds-muslims/
One small problem: that’s not what the poll says. It says that the majority of Muslims in several very specific countries support acts of violence.
Reading is FUNdamental!
I thought that might be too subtle a point to go into. Yes, that’s for various countries, and the results swing different ways between those countries. What is truly dangerous is enclaves in the US that are majority-Muslim from those countries with those beliefs. Those enclaves have not assimilated, and retain the same problems (Dearborn, MI for example as an enclave of non-assimilated Somalis).
That, combined with the large Saudi funding of Waabi mosques in the US, means there are many thousands to (likely) many tens of thousands of Muslims who agree with the extreme things we’re worried about.
Of course that doesn’t paint all Muslims, and I’ve yet to see anyone claim that “all Muslims are bad” which is the strawman in your original post.
I don’t believe it’s right to demonize anyone, Muslim or whatever. What most people fail to realize however is that the jihadists are simply taking the Quran literally and to its logical and moral conclusion. The ‘peaceful’ ones are like those in many other religions who don’t take the message of their “holy books” seriously. That’s why the fundamentalists are willing to attack not only the outsider infidels, but those within their own religion who don’t go “all the way”.
GO TO A MUSLIM LAND TO SEE FOR YOURSELF JUST HOW PEACEFULL MUSLIMS CAN BE WHEN THEY FIND AN INFIDEL! PS STAY THERE AND DO NOT EVER COME BACK! BBY!
As a US military veteran, I’ve visited quite a few, and for precisely that reason I don’t need your permission or approval to go OR come back. You’re wrong about them.
It’s been socially acceptable ever since nobody called out the radical feminists for literally saying it was ok to demonize all men for the actions of rapists with penises.
She should put up a sign. Those work like magic. **nods sagely**
Yes; yes it is . . .
Apples/oranges my friend.
I had a friend show me an article about this woman the other day. He seemed to be pretty much in support of her ban. I mentioned blaming American Muslims for the behavior of people half way around the world was a lot like me blaming him as a Christian for the behavior of the Lord’s Resistance Army in Africa.
