Agreed. But I am kind of hoping they follow in Walther’s steps and come out with an M2 version with an “American” style mag release. I really don’t want to adapt to the paddle. Might have to anyway.

The paddle mag release grew on me when I shot a P30L. It was weird at first, but it becomes a natural motion pretty quick.
Tangentially, I think they need to stage a really fancy photo shoot with backwards rounds, just for nostalgia.
Any really good HK glamour shot has to have an accompanying magazine full of cartridges loaded backwards.
