Don’t own an AR of any type, so I have a question: Does it need to have the stock at the back, or could it just be capped off flush somehow; or is this needed to satisfy some Federal regulations for pistols of this type?
Daniel – In a standard AR configuration, there’s a buffer tube assembly that sticks out the back. Stocks typically wrap around that. I have seen some AR pistols that just have the tube sticking out, but nothing flush fit in a basic AR configuration.
This REALLY makes me want an AR pistol!
