It’s good to see that they finally took my techniques to heart and ran with them.
I have to respectfully disagree. I can recall many times given the environment and the mission where flipping my mag on the ground and not keeping it for a resupply later let alone leaving it for “hodge” to have was not a good thing. There is a place but unfortunately not all TTPs that are taught for competition are good in the battle space. It is too easy to just assume that because such n such guy does this then it is the thing to do. Remember, these are all just techniques, you need to know which ones are relevant in the real world and which ones have no place on the battle field. Flipping mags in the house maybe, on patrol hours from the G Camp, sorry- not happening. Hope this is not taken to be negative just thought it should be said out loud. GOD bless you all brothers. – See more at: http://www.tacticalfanboy.com/2014/05/12/art-of-the-mag-flip/#comments
