A couple of notes on the drill itself. I believe that it’s best utilized as a pure accuracy drill. Take as long as you want on every shot, get perfect trigger pulls etc. You’ll notice that I’m letting the gun move me around in recoil. This is honestly because when I’m doing pure slow fire accuracy work, I don’t really care about recoil management beyond “don’t let the gun fly out of my hand.”
This is one of my favorite drills to shoot, glad to see you giving it some airtime. One variation i like to to shoot from approx 2 yards but use 1″ pasters. These aim small miss small type of drills have really helped me increase my trigger control.
