How do you do your reload drills with a revolver? A half full speedloader isn’t really the same thing, but shooting six each time burns a lot of ammo. I guess you could shoot two then drop the unused rounds, but that seems a poor idea as well.
I actually reload to a full speedloader, then when I’m setting up the next drill I manually eject whatever live rounds I don’t need.
So load two, shoot two, reload full, shoot two… empty and repeat?
Yep. I’ll handload two rounds in the gun, do my two shots, reload with a full speedloader and shoot two more. Then I’ll just pluck out two of the remaining four live rounds and go from there.
Drills 2,3 & 4 starts with gun draw or from low/high ready position?
