Well, it couldn’t be worse than the Sigma…
I own a SD9 that I really like. Best gun for the money is very accurate. It’s a hundred bucks cheaper than a base level Glock 19 plus you get a IMO better grip design (I don’t like the finger grooves) and a tritium front sight which is just great in the dark. It fits M&P holsters and uses Sigma mags. Trigger is at least as good as a Glock IMO.
I was unaware that it fit M&P holsters. That’s pretty cool.
Part of me thinks why get this when I can get the M&P for only about $100 more at most stores. The other part of me thinks value is value and good guns that are also inexpensive are always a good thing to bring to the market.
Ok, so I might be wrong, but isn’t this the Sigma series dressed up? I’ve always liked and wanted a Sigma 9 but couldn’t afford it, these guns look like Sigma’s with different slides, am I wrong?
Chris,
Kinda. I own the SD9, and have owned a Sigma in the past. I am happy to say that while the SD9 is the next iteration of the Sigma design, it is HEAD AND SHOULDERS above the Sigma. I have carried a custom Glock 19 for about seven years. It is now sitting in the safe, replaced by the SD9.
