Bench resting pistol ammo is a pretty ridiculous procedure. If I can shoot a sub 2 inch group standing offhand then the ammo is going to produce more than sufficient mechanical accuracy for any application outside of Bianchi Cup.
I do regret not having my chrony up and running, but thems the breaks. But I do stand by my assertion that bench resting pistol ammo is largely ballistic masturbation.
I can see that. Compared to my shooting ability a ‘Caleb group’ and a ‘benchrest group’ are pretty much the same thing.
It was just frustrating to read about your 5 parameters, see you note the two subjective ones, and then proceed to replace at least one of the objective ones with a subjective measure.
