Continuing the meme seen around the net: my wallet, sunglasses, Smith & Wesson Model 60 Pro, pen, and HKS speedload with 5 rounds of Black Hills 125 gr JHP. Photo taken with my iPhone, which is also something I carry.

here the selfdefense coffee cup? or is that not a daily carry item?
You’re packing 125 gr. .357’s in a 60? I tried that, but was to much of a wimp. Out of a 3″ tube, I find Buffalo Bore’s +P “heavy” .38’s to be softer on the giving end with numbers comparable to .357’s.
Oh gosh no, those Black Hills rounds are .38 Special +P.
Nice Smith!
And aren’t those Sharpie pens great?
Yeah, they’re basically the best pens ever.
Wow that is a SHARP looking j-Frame!
I’m a huge fan of the grips on the J-pro gun; the wood stocks and the shape really help promote a “high hands” hold.
No Lock? 🙂
No, it has a lock.
Substitute a S&W M442 for the M60, 158gr LSWCHP .38 +P for the Black Hills 125 gr JHP, add a lockblade knife drop the iPhone for Motorola Smartphone and I’m matching you
Caleb, I just inherited a S&W M-60, .357, 3″ with full underlug barrel, adjustable sights and green fiber-optic front sight.
It wears the S&W rubber grips of about 10 years ago, but I sure like those wooden grips on your ’60.
Are those S&W items, or Brand X? If you can point me to where I can buy a set, I’d be truly grateful.

The grips on my 60 are S&W factory grips for the Pro Series. I would imagine that you’d be able to order them for your 60 by calling Smith.
Caleb,
have you tried the Safariland MK I speedloaders? Doesn’t have that big knob that will occasionally dump ammo when digging it out of a pocket. This is the push against the cylinder release type. I have NEVER had one release accidentally, which is more than could be said for those twist knob types. More compact, and the only external metal is the cartridge cases. Nothing rattles, either.

I am actually quite partial to the Jet Loaders for competition, which also come in a 5 shot j-frame format.
Caleb, thanks for the pointer. I’ll follow up when I find out how much they’ll co$t.
