I don’t know how well they’d stand up to being shot, but for times when cardboard won’t work (rain) have you considered using the corregated plastic boards that most cigarette pole signs are made from? Several times a year, cigarette companies change the signs at gas stations / convenience stores, and the old ones are usually just thrown out. They almost always only have writing on one side, so would be easy to mark up as you need on the other.

    It might take some running around to get them, but you could probably get a whole bunch for nothing more than the effort of asking for them.

  2. Christ, for a second there, I thought the last COF pictured included Awerbuck’s Mirage Target System… IDPA looked a whole lot meaner (read: intimidatingly awesomer – both completely real words)
