Made it to Columbia a while ago, got a workout in and am now down in the hotel bar having a drink and a sandwich.
In cup related news, Bruce Piatt won the”Nostalgia” match today; which was shot. With Production guns and single stack 1911 pistols, the same way the very first Bianchi Cup was shot 30 years ago.
Is the Bianchi Cup specator friendly? I live about an hour away and am considering coming out to watch.
Yes and no, Jake. While there are spectators, I’ve been told that watching the match is sort of like watching paint dry – I watch it because I’m fascinated with it. I suppose it’s sort of like golf – some people love to watch it, others can’t stand it.
If memory serves, you love Tillamook Cheese. While you’re in Columbia, you might want to swing by the local Sam’s Club. The last time I was there (Sunday), they carried it.
