Advertise with Gun Nuts!

If you’re a friend of mine on Facebook, then you already know what I’m about to tell you – namely that I lost my fulltime “real job” on Wednesday.  While well-wishes are appreciated, I want ya’ll to know that I’m actually quite happy about this; as it has/is giving me an excellent opportunity to focus on the things that truly matter to me, such as my wife – and on developing Gun Nuts Media into what I’ve dreamed it can be.

Don’t worry, I’m not going to start begging for money while posting pictures of my fat dogs; however what I am going to do is encourage you to think about advertising with Gun Nuts, whether it’s here, or on the radio show, or even on our Youtube channel.  Click this page link for more information. If your work for or represent a company that produces a product for the firearms/self-defense market, and are interested in increasing your exposure, drop me a line at [email protected] and we can work something out.

On a more personal note, I’m looking forward to this opportunity – there is no time like the present to stop working for The Man and to start working for yourself.

  1. Good luck! I got downsized at the end of October and was out of work for a month and a half. I wasn’t half so optimistic.

  2. I’m so sorry. There have been a couple of times I was out of work for over six months at a time. It was tough.

Microsoft is still hiring. Especially in mobile which may be an area where you leverage some of your experience.

If you apply and get hired someplace in the process they will ask if someone referred you. Tell them it was me and if I get a referral bonus I’ll split it with you.

  3. Sucks to hear about your unemployment. The facility I work at is still hiring lots of folks, so if you want to drop me a line as to what you do (I have no clue), I can take a look at the job boards. Tennessee is not that bad, I promise :).

Aside from that, good luck with the advertisements! Start pinging all the gun manufacturers and smiths you know…

  4. Caleb, I am so sorry. That’s terrible news. I do wish you well, and since you’re planning on becoming your own boss, may the muddy waters of bureaucracy part ahead of you. I did the small business thing for a few years…until my ex-wife spent me into a corner.

I’m sure you’ll let us know when you hire your first employees. We’ll crack open some champagne in celebration. :o)

  5. Sorry to hear about your UE. Don’t worry, looks like you got a jump on making $$ online. I know plenty of full time bloggers! I can even help. Just shoot me an email if you are interested and I could help.

    Good luck!

  6. Congrats on your new opportunity! I’ve been in the same boat a couple of times, and each time I came out better, smarter, and stronger. Everything happens for a reason! Good luck!

  7. My wife is having a terrible time finding a job in her field, and at our age changing your job description is tough…

I placed a link to your blog on my sidebar, and it looks like those invites I sent on Facebook may be coming to fruition, I hope so!!
