Do Want

Only this time, it’s not a gun – it’s Brigid’s macaroni and cheese.

Talk about taking me back to my childhood…when I was growing up, I wasn’t even aware that people did anything other than bake their mac and cheese, and when I first tried Kraft in college, I was repulsed by the squishy noodles and horrible cheese-like sauce.

Thanks very much to Brigid for not only providing me with a recipe but also the memories of Mom’s mac and cheese, and then trying to be the first one to get to the left-overs the next day.

  1. I was sorely deprived as a child. The first time I encountered true mac and cheese (e.g. not from a box) as a kid, I didn’t recognize it or enjoy it. I’ve since learned better and changed my ways.
