For those not “in the know”, cornhole is essentially a bean-bag toss game, except instead of beanbags, the bags are supposed to be filled with corn. Their are two slanted boards placed about 10 yards apart, and the object is to land your bags on the board, or through the hole at the top of the board.
It’s pretty much the game of choice for fratguys and people at tailgates, because the gear is light, portable, and drinking huge amounts of beer usually won’t hurt your game too much.

Nor will getting hit in the head by a bag of corn thrown by some drunk guy cause massive injuries – usually.
Unlike a similar game using brass washers, or that really evil one that uses iron horseshoes.
Bring back lawn darts!
There are areas of the country where cornhole, also known as bean bag toss, is very popular and areas where it is not heard of nearly as often. Organizing a tournament in an area where the game is not generally played might take some doing, but there are people all over the country who do enjoy the game. By asking questions in the community and doing some inexpensive advertising, people who enjoy the game and want to be part of the cornhole tournament can be found.
