At least, that’s roughly how many people think they’re members of the NRA.
A pollster asked people if they are NRA members, and got numbers indicating that about 33 million Americans would answer “yes.”
Fascinating. Apparently, a lot of people have bought one year memberships and then not known that needed to renew said membership to maintain their official membership in the NRA. It actually makes sense then, in why NRA has always been able to motivate a voting block that is seemingly disproportionally large when compared with their numbers.
Where they really get dinged is that some people who take a NRA course think they become NRA members.
The civilian version of the Marines: Once an NRA member, always an NRA member.
