So, here’s the problem. Which gun?
Should I get the H&R Handi-rifle chambered for .500 S&W Magnum, the AR-7 so I can be cool like James Bond, the Taurus Judge revolver, or a neat little .380 semi-auto to carry when I don’t want to carry the .45 snubby?
Heavens to mergatroid, I just don’t know.
I’m looking myself to add another AR-7 to replace the one I sold many years ago. I haven’t had a .22 in years, but I still have about 1200 rounds in the closet. Need to get something to burn them up with 🙂
I’ve really enjoyed my Bersa Thunder .380, and it’s quite accurate and easy to shoot. Cheap too.

Well, with the .500 S&W, you get the pleasure of owning an “evil .50“.
A well timed post. I’m in the quagmire of shotguns for Trap, myself.
As soon as I lean one way, something pulls me in another.
Right now the 1100 is duking it out with the 11-87.
Get either the Handi-Rifle or a P3AT
Just over 250 bucks for something that shoots the .500? Dang, I might have to get me one.
Hell if I could snatch my AR-7 back from a brother who’s been returning it any day now for the past 15 years, I’d send it to ya. Neither of us could get the thing to feed, fire, or fling on a regular basis until switching to CCI Stingers, but one or two bad apples doesn’t mean the line totally sucks. Good mouseguns for pocket carry are worth their weight in gold, but the same can be said for pretty much everything on your list. All performing different functions, so I guess besides the obvious of recommending to get ’em all, its up to you to decide which need has the biggest hole at this particular point in time.
Get the P3AT. Seriously. You’d be AMAZED at how light and “carryable” it is…
