I have two guns, one for each of you

In this video, I take a look at one of my favorite Hollywood tropes – firing two guns at once. But instead of just playing around, I take a hard look at whether or not it’s more effective than firing one gun with two hands on it.

  1. I always knew that was complete and utter bullshit. Keeping accuracy with a pistol in each hand is going to be far more difficult. Movies always have to have that “cool factor” though. Logic seldom enters into the equation.

  2. Dual wielding with different guns is almost impossible. We did it with 2 springfield XD subcompacts, and got the same results you did. Then we looked over and guess what, we have 2 LAR Grizzly Win mags! Total fail, the weak hand can not handle the recoil and the sight picture is gone after the first round and you can’t get a cadence going. Two hands, one gun = success. We could get more rounds accurately down range with one gun doing a reload than the dual wield. Hollywood is full of crap.

  3. This is mythology that just won’t die, not much different than the fact that we still see spinning kicks in action movies despite the fact that we have over two decades of everyone watching the UFC.

  4. hahaha…..BANG…BANG…BANG… RRRRRRATATATATATATATATATTTTTTTTT…. I like guns, machinegus, submachineguns….. I like action movies and gangster movies with firing Kalashnikov AK-47 making alot big HOLES inside boobs and miniskirts and panties of hot bikibi girls !!!… mmmmmmmmmmmmmmmm….
