I read Todd’s torture test on the HK45. I convinced me to buy one, and I love it.
I agree after reading Todd’s site for a while he looks different than I expected.

Todd’s torture test would have totally pulled me into the world of H&K…if the magazine release didn’t always feel like it was stabbing me in the finger when I try to operate it. I don’t know if I’m “doing it wrong” or if my hands just aren’t the right shape. But, either way, I’m not keen on a gun that hurts to use.
It’s a shame too, because the HK45 felt REALLY nice in my hands, and the trigger even more so. Such a change from the USPs.

Not sure how much that Vickers Mod they are talking about costs, but even $100-200 isn’t that much compared to the cost of a gun, or the cost of a custom 1911 that would be comparable to it, according to some pretty expert guys anyway.
