  1. Every activity has a complementarity activity which is totally different but will improve your performance. If you want to be more competitive at shooting, take up tennis. Look at the movements of tennis: quick reaction, short and fast movements, hand eye coordination, and full range of upper body muscles worked.

    As you get better at tennis, you see your IDPA/IPSC/USPSA performance/placing increase.
