Never forget

I remember exactly where I was, 9 years ago today. We forget the lessons of the past and the sacrifices and lives lost at our own detriment. It’s shocking to me that 18 year olds that will vote in this election are barely old enough to remember 9/11. We cannot let the memories or the facts of that day be swept away by politicians that would appease fanatical extremists.

  1. I remember EXACTLY where I was when I first heard what happened..and that was a couple of hours after it actually happened.

  2. I was in the living room playing a video game when my wife yelled down the hall that her friend (who she was talking to on the computer, her friend was in England) said to turn on the news, America was under attack. I tuned into CNN just after the second plane hit. I think CNN was all I watched for about 2 weeks after that.

    I will never forget……..

Or by politicians who would would use it for political gain by appealing to our worst instincts instead of our greatest strengths.
