Typical Behavior

It didn’t take long for the media to start showing their bias after the New Life Church shooting.  From Newsbusters and another source, I find this clip from Morning Joe on MSNBC.   I wouldn’t say it’s shocking, or surprising, but I was taken aback by how absolutely rude Mika Brzezinski was to her fellow hosts.  You can view the entire video at this link, and if you’re like me you’ll probably be surprised at how rude and condescending Mika acts.

The transcript itself is pretty interesting.

JOE SCARBOROUGH: Saved hundreds of lives!

MIKA BRZEZINSKI: Yes, she did.

SCARBOROUGH: Hundreds!

BRZEZINSKI: Alright. Police say it appears that shot only wounded Murray, that she only wounded him, and then he possibly took his own life.

SCARBOROUGH: One person with a gun can make a big difference.

BRZEZINSKI: Oh gosh, no! No, no, no.

SCARBOROUGH: Know what I mean? Know what I mean, Willie [Geist]?

WILLIE GEIST: They were quick to point that out yesterday.

BRZEZINSKI: No, no, no, no, no. Camera stays here.

SCARBOROUGH: One person with a gun in the right place can make a big difference.

GEIST: For good and for bad.

SCARBOROUGH: For good and for bad.

BRZEZINSKI: You know, that is the most inane statement I have ever heard.

The reason why this is “typical behavior” is because it demonstrates the well document tactic of sticking your fingers in your ears and yelling “LA-LA-LA I CAN’T HEAR YOU” when you’re presented with facts that don’t agree with your predetermined world view.  It’d be funny if it wasn’t so sad; especially in this case because the fact is that one person with a gun did make a huge difference, and did save the lives of hundreds of people.

  1. So the same media that loves to fan the flames of these tragedies and doubtless inspires future ones, wants to ignore the most effective means of preventing and ending one. It doesn’t surprise me one bit.

  2. Clearly she needs a dictionary to look up “inane”. The most “inane statement” I heard was: “No. Nononono, camera stays here.”

  3. Why argue with her? Take the High Road: Refuse to have a Battle of Wits with an Unarmed Person.

Q: How many LW Moonbats does it take to change a light bulb?

A: It doesn’t matter. They’ll never see the light anyway.
