Drunk drivers will face public shaming.
A conviction for driving under the influence of alcohol is something many people try to conceal, even from their families. But now the bleary-eyed, disheveled and generally miserable visages of convicted drunken drivers here, captured in their mug shots, are available to the entire world via a Web site.
Fine with me. I really do hate drunk driving; and as fitting with my values, believe that harsher punishments (and in this case, shame) can serve as an effective deterrent. If you drive while drunk, you’re a douchebag, and deserve to have your dumb ass laughed and pilloried by the masses.

Yeah, but when you try to boil someone in oil, the International Red Cross starts complaining.
How about we just bring back the stocks for drunks. We could even revive the tradition of children throwing rotten produce at the heads of said drunk drivers while they’re in the stocks. Now THAT’s public humiliation!
